Our fully guaranteed Data-Removal services are designed to meet the new UK Government Standards, HMG Infosec Standard 5. The two products used are tested and passed by the CESG, the Government’s IT Security Group. This secure and efficient disposal route has been employed by a wide range of NI Government Departments.

Secure Erasure Standards

Base Line Standard This lower standard is to be met when wiping equipment which contains information up to and including ‘Restricted’. Enhanced Standard This standard is suitable for computers which contain information classified as ‘Confidential’ or ‘Secret’. * AMI take no risks with our clients information, therefore we wipe all computers to meet the Enhanced Standard

Data Removal Products

Blancco Data Cleaner This overwriting software is used on working products for re-sale. This is the only overwriting software product passed for use at the Enhanced Standard. Weircliffe BTE 220m Degausser This Degausser is used to destroy all non-working or non-marketable equipment. This Product has been tested and passed by the Security Equipment Assessment Panel (SEAP), for ‘Enhanced Standard’ Data Removal.

How AMI Complete Data Removal

All Data Removal is completed in line with Infosec Standard 5 All Data Removal meets the criteria for the ‘Enhanced Standard’ All units are wiped 3 Times A verification report is generated for each individual wipe All units are individually checked for bad sectors AMI separately verify one in every eight units - this exceeds the Baseline Standard requirements by 10 times - this is twice the Enhanced Standard Requirements. Each unit is opened to account for each individual drive. All units are wiped as soon as they are received, most units will be wiped within 12 hours of collection.
